# About me

History

My name is Nebiyu Elias Talefe. I currently reside in Taipei, Taiwan, but I am originally from Ethiopia. I am a full-stack engineer with over 5 years of experience, specializing in web and mobile development.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Computer Science from DBU and I am presently pursuing my master's degree in CSIE at NTUST, thanks to a scholarship from ASUS. I am conducting my research under the supervision of Tai Lin Chin and Binayak Kar.
My passion for computers began at a young age. My father promised to buy me a computer if I ranked top in my class from grades 1 to 4. I exceeded his expectations by being the top student from grades 1 to 6, and received my first computer in grade 5, which was one of the happiest moments of my life.

I love sharing my knowledge through writing articles, which I usually publish on Medium.
I am currently studying Mandarin, hence my Chinese name.

- Promoted to lead a team of 4 developers after gaining the trust of the co-founders.
- Managed both technical and interpersonal aspects of the role, making it the most demanding position I have held so far.
